October 26 October in a NutshellThought I should update this space a bit. Heh. Mostly pictures as I still have tons to do!   Midautumn in Penang with my Pooh Lantern and Family at our balcony garden =) Midautumn in Singapore at Esplanade rooftop with Khoon!    Mightily busy with Impresario 2010 – besides meetings and meetings, we also did a very embarrassing but highly effective Crab Operation, I can never forget the expressions of those people in Old Canteen A. Members’ Night was themed with Mismatched, note my socks with slippers! Haha. And Alumni Night last Saturday. The Impresario journey has been fulfilling and fun thus far! :D   Started writing as a journalist under Art Jam, which is one of the things I really wanted to do. I think I am very lucky for having the opportunity to write what I really like for my first few articles. Did a write-up for Cat Socrates, which i do visit when I am free, and also a review for Lala’s campus concert. My first time going for a concert as Press and sitting at the front row! Haha.     Despite our very busy schedules, our passion for music and performing lead us to Voila 2009 =) had my wish of performing Lucky but i screwed up by forgetting the lyrics and I sort of lost myself >.< Formed a band with Jay, Jia Siu and Hubert, it was a great experience having a saxophone in the band! And unexpectedly we were named champions. Hahaha. Impresario was at Voila too with Bee Kwee as guest performer :D   Had fun with Hall Production as well ^.^ Photoshoot last Friday, first time dressing up as a punk rocker! Cynthia commented that we looked like Cherry Boom. Haha! And we went for a songwriting workshop earlier in the month with some experts in writing Musicals. It was great learning and making music!   Serving God in Crusades has been challenging and fun as well =) I really thank God for the decision made, and for helping me wake up extra early every week for DG. I guess it rekindles my passion for God!  Last but not least, I fulfilled one of my resolutions this year: To run a 10k race! Very satisfied with my results of 1 hour and 16 minutes :D it was a good experience. Besides everything that I’ve mentioned, I’m also learning Korean every Friday and working with Bee on a language and emotion project =) Korean makes me happy, for I dunno what reason heh. Or perhaps, learning a new language makes me feel enriched. I like the project I’m working for Bee, because its making me realise once again why I chosed Linguistics as my major. Yipee! October has been busy and fun at the same time; campus audition this Wednesday and Halloween this week! :D I must start studying hard because mum and dad have promised to be here in November! =DDD |
